River Valley Credit Union’s 63rd Annual Meeting will be held on Thursday, June 18th, at the Quality Inn & Suites in Ames. Registration will begin at 5:15, with a meal served at 5:30.
All members are invited and encouraged to join! There is no cost to attend, and you have the option to buy a meal ticket for $7. Meal tickets are available for purchase at any RVCU location from May 1st to June 7th.

Board of Directors Election
During the meeting, three member- owners will be elected to our volunteer Board of Directors, each serving a three-year term.
The following three candidates have been selected by the Nominating Committee for consideration:
Ron Morgan
Ron has been a member of River Valley Credit Union since 1976 when he became employed as a Research Veterinarian at the National Animal Disease Center. Ron and his wife live with their son in Ames. They also have a married daughter living in Waterloo, Iowa. All are members of the River Valley Credit Union.
Ron is semi-retired as he does some veterinary work for Grinnell College and farms. Many of you might know Ron from his work as Head of the Animal Resources Section at the USDA National Veterinary Services Laboratories until his retirement in 2007.
Ron adds, “If elected, I will do my best to help the River Valley Credit Union serve the needs of its members and the Central Iowa community. The commitment to service to members is as strong today as it was in 1976.
Warren Mueller
Warren was employed as the CEO of MEMBERS1ST Community Credit Union for 32 years before retiring in 2014. During that time, he served as a director of the Iowa Credit Union League, the Iowa Corporate Central Credit Union, and Community Business Lenders. He has a B.A. from Wartburg College and an MBA in finance from the University of Iowa.
Warren and his wife of 46 years, Lou Ann, live in Ames. He serves as secretary/treasurer of the State Center Development Association and is on an advisory committee for Partner Communications Cooperative. Warren and Lou Ann enjoy traveling and antiquing in their spare time. Warren has been a member of RVCU since 1998.
Steven Hennager
A long-time member of River Valley Credit Union, Steve was previously employed by the National Animal Disease Center. Now retired, he lives in Ames with his wife Sally.
Steve was appointed to a vacant Board position in September of 2023. He currently serves on the Audit Committee.
