A debit card looks like a credit card but works like a check. When you use your card, your purchase will be deducted directly from your checking account. The card also works as an ATM cash card with access to over 230,000 ATMs worldwide. All of your transactions will appear on your monthly share draft (checking) statement. All debit card transactions are free. There is a fee, however, for ATM cash withdrawals after 8 free transactions per month.
